End of Summer Tournament – Ennis, TX

Texas D-1 Ambassadors – Chip 78   DC Kings 68

The team took control in Game 2 and maintained a steady lead throughout the game, mainly with inside play and drives to the basket.  Deon Mitchell (2011 Pflugerville HS) led the scoring with 24 pts, followed by Demetris Smith (2010 Pflugerville HS) with 23 pts.  Nick Leasure (2010 St. Michael’s Academy HS) also finished the game in double digits with 12 pts on great inside play.

This 1st Game was never in doubt as the team had 4 players in double figures scoring and proved too much size for the undermanned Hawks team.
